My Liberica is the one and only specialty Liberica coffee bean producer in Malaysia. The Liew family takes full control from farm to cup, with their own coffee plantation, processing mill, roastery and an in house cafe that serves specialty Liberica coffee in Johor Bahru.
The Liberica Peaberry coffee is our favourite among all the Liberica beans. The honey sweetness is absolutely lovely, smooth and easy-drinking coffee. The Peaberry has an intense sweetness and fruity notes as compared to normal honey processed Liberica.
This new batch is an updated & refined roast by Jason, much cleaner, sweeter & juicier cup! We recommend a brewing temperature of 93˚C for the sweetest cup, best brewed with V60 and Syphon, same as how they serve in the cafe.

I tried MY liberica PEAberry with 16g/200ml. It's a bit bitter but the sweat will come after taste. shall play with different ratio & temperature again.

First time trying a Peaberry. Not much aroma when you open the bag but surprising nice on the palate when you have your first sip. Would i buy this beans again? Yes!
Brewed this by aeropress and it is terrible. I guess there was a reason I had never heard of Malaysian-grown coffee until now.
Slightly too light for a pour over. Prefer the liberica classic instead. However, it is not as bad, the aroma is still superb just the taste profile is not to my liking.

It’s great tried out coffee planted and roasted in Malaysia. It was a whole new experience of tasting liberica. Personally don’t really like the ending of the taste because it felt like guai leng gou. But I think it is worth trying to which has huge different body than arabica
Bought this as a gift for my friend who owns a cafe in China. He’s never tried this before. He liked it.
always love a myliberica beans. Addicted to the sweetness profile. irresistible. Must try also to support local beans.
Distinctive jackfruit aroma and very sweet cup of joe!
Look at the mega size as compare to Brazil Fazenda Pedra Redonda bean, is too hard to neglect the first aroma strike to the nose. Been trying with few grind size and water temp, still prefer 95c with 18g for 250ml at V60, at least lesser sour but again, lost of honey processed taste and less aroma.
The taste is ok when i brew using Aeropress. Something is off when i’m using V60. Might be my brewing skills issue as I’m still a newbie. But with Aeropress its quite good considering the price.
Quite a sour note.
Taste was bitter
I couldnt grind it properly on my grinder, the beans kept skipping out, otherwise i really like the aroma of the coffee
Malaysia Liberica Peaberry
It's great to have our local coffee growers produce international standard of coffee that has been roasted to perfection.

Proud to have local coffee growers produce international quality of coffee.
Found this a nice light cup of coffee with hardly any acidity. The best part of it is I have finally convinced my wife who is a 3 in one Old town drinker to truly appreciate real coffee. Keep up the good work.
The cup of black brewed with aeropress smelled bitter and tastes slightly bitter. When cooler it tastes perfect.
It tastes just perfect!
Love the beans!
And love the shipping time as well!
Our first Liberica!
My wife and I live in the US, and ordered this coffee through beanshipper.com. The coffee is wonderful, very light and mellow flavor. The liberica beans have a distinct flavor, different than the arabica beans we're used to, but it's also not as upfront as some other coffees we've tried.
As far as ordering and shipping, BeanShipper was excellent! The shipping charge from MY to US was very reasonable, and the folks at BeanShipper answered all of my questions. They were very honest and personal, a rarity in today's global market.
We'll be moving to Malaysia in a few months, and looking forward to trying more local roasts!
A refreshing difference
These beans are definitely worth a try, if at all to experience something new. It's sweet and fruity. Although I found the taste somewhat different, it was somehow hauntingly familiar.
A little acid more my taste, :)
Lovely beans really. Liberica will taste different from Arabica of course. Mainly I've noticed they tend to taste lighter but I've learnt to like it. This one fits the profile exactly. Light, very aromatic, good acidity. The taste evolved too from when I just got them, 2 days after roasting till 3 weeks after when I finished the bag. So basically I got to enjoy a slightly different profile every few days when time I into the bag.
Recommended. Tho as usual, the best judge to know whether you like something is trying it yourself :)
I give marks for being different, maybe I'm not used to the honey process...
you can taste the licorices & nutty flavours very distinctly.
Either you love it or you don't. Not really my cup of coffee, but definitely recommended to try if you want to taste something really different.
Has a lingering, sweet mellowness, with a hint of overripe blueberries (?). Interesting!
