About this coffee :
Luis Anibal Farm is located right next to a thick rain forest at a farm by the name Villa Betulia. This coffee is harvested following a strict ripeness criteria, exposed to an aerobic fermentation for 20 hours before pulped, afterwards pulped washed and dried in parabolic dryers to ideal moisture content.
The cold climate creates the perfect farming condition in-spite of the altitude of 1,600masl. He found this new variety *Caturron out of an odd coffee tree from his farm. This varietal is a rare mutation of Caturra found for the first time in Acevedo, Huila region. Growers started planting Caturron due to its resistance to leaf rust and high yield.
This coffee is tangy and juicy, with orange & panela sweetness. Medium body & silky mouthfeel. Truly a unique coffee to start your day with.
