About this coffee :

Daterra分為216個微型農場,面積只有5至15公頃。它們每個都在基於GPS的系統中進行跟踪,我們知道每個小區域的所有歷史和信息,就好像它是農民後院中的單個種植園一樣。

將豆子精確乾燥至適當的水分含量,然後在木筒倉中“靜置”超過40天,軟化其味道,並突出所有稍後在杯中發現的積極特性。

所有的次要缺陷都是通過複雜的分選過程進行分選的,從屏幕尺寸和現代密度分離到一組5個電子分選機,不一而足。這些分選器與不同且互補的光分類系統配合使用,可將缺陷縮小到最低水平。輸出的是非常乾淨和純淨的咖啡批次,其中僅包含員工精心製作的最完美的咖啡豆。

勞里納(Laurrina)或“波旁尖身(Bourbon Pointu)”是留尼汪島上罕見的小而尖的豆品種,通常比其他阿拉比卡品種的咖啡因含量低。 Aramosa 品種是 Coffeea Araba 和 Coffeea Racemosa(傳家寶Coffeea物種)之間的雜交品種。與普通的阿拉比卡咖啡豆相比,Aramosa咖啡豆通常具有花香,咖啡因含量較低。

Laurina 和 Aramosa 的結合成為了地球上最甜的咖啡之一。帶有桃子,杏仁和肉桂多層次的香氣,帶有氣泡酒的酸度。每一口都會讓您大吃一驚的咖啡。

Daterra is divided in 216 mini-farms, of only 5 to 15ha. Each of them is traced in a GPS based system, and we know all history and information about every little area as if it was a single plantation in a farmer’s backyard.

Beans are dried with precision, to the right levels of moisture and are then taken to “rest” in wooden silos for over 40 days, softening its taste and highlighting all the positive attributes that will be later found in the cup.

All minor defects are sorted out in a complex sorting process that uses from screen size and modern density separation to a set of 5 electronic sorters. Those sorters work with different and complementary light-sorting systems, which narrow defects down to the lowest levels. The output is an extremely clean and pure coffee batch, containing only the most perfect beans produced with lots of care by our people.

Laurina, or “Bourbon Pointu” is a rare varietal from the Reunion Islands of small, pointy beans that usually present a lower caffeine amount than other Arabica varietals. Whereas the Aramosa varietal is a crossbreed between Coffeea Arabica and Coffeea Racemosa – an heirloom Coffeea species. The Aramosa beans usually present floral aromatics and a lower caffeine content than regular Arabica beans.

A combination of both Laurina and Aramosa result into one of the sweetest coffee on earth. With delightful complexity notes of peach, almond and cinnamon notes, finish with sparkling wine acidity. A coffee that will give you a big wow on every sip.
